Graham Farish Scenecraft
N Scale Bus & Coach Models

Graham Farish announced a new range of N scale bus & coach models in early 2009. The models would be marketed in the Scenecraft range and included eight different vehicle types each of which would be available in four different operator liveries.

The first batch of seven models were released in December 2011 and included five different vehicle types. The models are of plastic construction which is moulded in the base colour of the livery depicted. Relief colours and detailing such as lights & decals are all tampo printed or mask sprayed. The models compared with some of the previous diecast N scale buses offered a finer level of detailing.

However it soon became apparent that there was a slight problem with the models, namely the scale wasn't the accepted UK 1:148, instead the models are to the smaller US 1:160 N scale. This becomes very noticeable when they are placed next to other UK N scale models.
It appears a mix up occurred during tooling for the models and unfortunately all eight models suffer this size issue.

The release of these models by Graham Farish became somewhat drawn out with a second batch of four models in May 2012. This was followed by further batches of five in October 2013, one in July 2014 & eight in February 2016.
The final batch of seven models completed the range in April 2016.

No further models in this range are currently planned by Graham Farish.
