BS04 Leyland Olympian L Class Double Deck Bus

Our third commissioned code 3 model was released October 2005 and featured a more modern offering in the form of a London United L class Leyland Olympian on a short working of the 140 service to South Harrow Stn. The model of L300 (G300UYX) carries branding for the 140 service and period side advertisements. These off the peg single door buses entered service with the London United District of London Buses on route 237 in January 1990. They carried RiversideBus fleetnames and remained on the 237 operating between Shepherds Bush Green & Sunbury Village until the route was lost in the 1998 round of re-tendering. Some of the buses then transferred to Hounslow Garage where they were put to work 140 for almost two year before this service was lost to Metroline Travel. Our model is a certificated limited edition of 150 pieces and like the previous code 3 models was jointly sold by ourselves & L.B.R.T.
