BS06 Leyland Titan PD2 RTW Class Double Deck Bus

Our fifth code 3 model was a re-working of the OOC RTW undertaken by L.B.R.T. and released in October 2007. The model is a limited edition of 150 certificated pieces and was jointly sold by ourselves & L.B.R.T. The RTW class was destined to work on the 158 for just 12 months between May 1950, when they replaced ageing STL class vehicles, & May 1951 when RTs relaced them. The RTW's short stay on the route was the result of the Metropolitan Police finally granting permission for their use on busier Central London routes following a successful trail of these wider vehicles in 1951. Our model depicts RTW200 (KLB 930) heading for South Harrow Stn on a short working, the model carries early 1950's period advertisements all round.
