430 / OM430
Leyland Olympian Double Deck Bus

The first then current double deck type to be added to the range was the Leyland Olympian. The Olympian was Leyland last double deck type, the chassis name passed to Volvo upon their purchase of Leyland and continued in production until the late 1990's.

The model is based on a Roe or Leyland body although it's hard to say exactly which, the model was re-tooled in late 1999 (from release 43011) to improve the front profile of the model, the new version had thinner support pillars either side of the front upper deck windows and a revised windscreen and front grille.
