East Lancs Rear Engined Double Deck Buses

The east Lancs low floor body was introduced in 1999 with frontal styling similer to the contempary single deck bodies. the Myllennium restyled bodies (More angular frontal aspect) came on stream in 2001), various body version are available and are named depending on the chassis manufacture used, Lolyne for Dennis / Transbus Tridents, Lowlander for Scania / DAF, & Vyking for Volvos.

The Myllennium range was found favour with a number of operators, the Arriva group have purchased batches, the East Lancs product has also been successful with several former municipal operators, including Ipswich, Bournemouth and Blackpool.

The model was the first UK low floor double decker represented in the range and was introduced in July 2003. Some of the releases have been fitted with a near side upper deck tree protector bar.
