Atlas Editions RTW Variation
Stuart Tsar has sent me details of another variation of the recent Atlas Editions London Transport RTW, this new version has a different registration number, box artwork and minor differences to some of the tampo printed decals.

The changes are: new registration KGK575 instead of 505, taller fleet names, revised side advertisements with the "Original And Best" slogan printed in white rather than yellow. Front adverts have a white border and extra red detailing while the rear corner "Watch Your Step" advert is smaller and positioned on the corner panel below the rear window rather than the one adjacent to it. Finally the drivers door window has a red divider tampo printed across it.

Moving on to the box artwork this now includes the revised 575 number plate but shows the model without the front advertisements.

It's not known how common this version is or whether this is an earlier or later run than the version with the 505 number plates.

Can You Help BBC Documentary Makers?
I've been contacted by Andy Mosse who's making two documentaries about coach travel for the BBC4 Timeshift series. The first programme is the Golden Age of coach travel while the second programme will concentrate on the formation of the National Bus Company in the late 60s/ early 70s and takes the story up to the present day.

Andy has been trying to come up with a way of filming buses that is slightly different and that might link some of the chapters of the film together, he's heard about model bus enthusiasts and had an idea which involves the possibility of filming the model versions of the different buses that will be featuring in the programme. It's only an idea at this stage but he's particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has a fairly large Diorama that would provide plenty of different filming options. The filming needs to take place during the weeks 21st-25th June and 5th-9th July so if you think you might be able to help please contact him by email as soon as possible.

Andy is also looking for moving footage of buses filmed during the 70s & 80s which relates to the subject of the programme.

The deadline for submissions has now passed.
