Oxford 76DBxxx Series
Duple Britannia Coach

Duple announced the Britannia range in 1955, it was based on the earlier Elizabethan body design but had a simpler all vertical side window pillar design.

The Britannia bodies were designed for chassis with under floor engines such as the AEC Reliance, Leyland Leopard & Leyland Tiger Cub.

Duple produced the Britannia between 1956 & 1962, it was superseded by the shorter lived Continental & Commodore body designs.
The Britannia vehicle modelled is based on the front entrance 41 seat layout, the vehicles were also available with centre doors. These Duple coaches were particularly popular with independent coach operators in the 1950s & 1960's.

Oxford Diecast announced the new model tooling in September 2021, the first release was issued in late December 2022.
