Mercedes Benz launched integral O 350 “Tourismo”coach in 1994, it was the first coach design produced by Mercedes to relieve a name rather than a “O” number designation, it has become one of the best selling coaches across Europe, being available in both initially in left hand drive configuration. The design has gone through several revamps, the second generation appearing in 2006 along with and right drive models for the UK & Eire markets. A third generation revamp took place in 2017 when a 3 axle 14m & 13 a axle variant added to the line up.The Tourismo range of 2 & 3 axle coaches are still in production and built at the Daimler Buses Hosdere plant in Turkey.The Oxford Diecast model depicts a 3rd generation 14m three axle variant of the Tourismo, it was announced in February 2026 with the first release expected in the first quarter of 2027. |
