Plaxton Panorama I Coach

The Plaxton Panorama Coach was a land mark design which changed British coach design, launched in 1959 it was the first luxury coach design to feature large side panoramic windows.

The body was fitted to a range of manufacturers chassis' including the Leyland Leopard, AEC Reliance & Bedford VAL. The stylish design attracted orders and other coachbuilders soon adopted similar designs for their products. The original Plaxton Panorama was updated in 1964 and continued in production in various forms until the 1970's when it was finally replaced by the Supreme range.

The Oxford model is based on the more common two axle form of the coach, and unlike Corgi's earlier 1/76 scale versions have choosen not to produce the three axle Bedford VAL variant.

The first release was in October 2013 and model construction consists of diecast lower & plastic upper body parts.
