Corgi Online Exclusive OOC Models Not Exclusive!
I reported on Tuesday that Corgi had released the two models below, and that the Corgi website product pages had been amended to state that both models are "Website Exclusives" with a price of £46.99, however these models have also been distributed to model wholesalers and are now making their way to model retailers.

I've checked the Corgi website tonight and both models are still misleadingly marked as Web Exclusives.

The two OOC AEC Routemaster models announced in the previous catalogue, issued in January, are still outstanding.

OM46317 Blackpool Transport (Pontin's Holiday Club Livery / RM848 WLT 848 - Route 40 Pontin's) - AEC Routemaster Bus

OM46318 London Transport (1000th Routemaster / RM1000 100 BXL - Route 190 Old Coulsdon) - AEC Routemaster Bus

Recent Britbus Model Releases Clarification
To clarify the situation with the two Britbus models released to model retailers recently (See May 1 News Report), these are from the original run of models commissioned by Omnidekka Models.

Chris Cotton is supplying the models to wholesaler John Ayrey Diecast, due to tax & VAT changes he has ceased distributing the models directly to model retailers.
Due to the wholesaler costs, the models will be more expensive compared to buying directly from the Omnidekka Models online store.
Note: The Omnidekka Models website address has changed from omnidekkamodels.com to omnidekkamodels.co.uk due to new rules relating to payment sites based in the UK.

Tuesday 17 May
Confirmed Release of Corgi Online Exclusive OOC Models
The following models are now available to order direct from the Corgi Online Store, like the two new models announced last week, it turns out these are now listed as "Website Exclusives" on the Corgi Online Store. They are priced £46.99 each plus delivery.

Update 19 May
Despite claims on the Corgi site of these both being Web Exclusives, they are NOT and are being distributed by trade wholesalers to other model retailers.

The two OOC AEC Routemaster models announced in the previous catalogue, issued in January, are still outstanding.

OM46317 Blackpool Transport (Pontin's Holiday Club Livery / RM848 WLT 848 - Route 40 Pontin's) - AEC Routemaster Bus - General Release

OM46318 London Transport (1000th Routemaster / RM1000 100 BXL - Route 190 Old Coulsdon) - AEC Routemaster Bus - Ceneral Release

Monday 9 May & updated 10 May
Corgi New Bus & Coach Models For 2022
The Second Corgi 2022 catalogue has launched today via the official website.

There are two OOC models among the 20 plus new items for the period May to August. Again like the two OOC models announced in the previous 2022 catalogue, neither has the dual destination option traditionally found on most previous OOC issues.

Update 10 May
The two OOC models are exclusive to the Corgi Online store, existing stockiests of the OOC range, some who have stocked the range for 25 years will not be offered these models by Corgi. Therefore if you want either of the models below you will have to pay the full RRP of £46.99. This change of distribution isn't mention either on the Corgi website or in the catalogue.

OM44013 Blackpool Transport (Interflora Livery) - 621 - Sandcastle and Pleasure Beach - Blackpool Brush Railcar Tram - Due Summer 22

OM46634 Arriva London (London Transport Country Green Livery) - LT2 / LTZ 1002 - Route 38 Victoria - AEC Routemaster Bus - Due Summer 22

Corgi appears to have re-launched the Trackside range with eleven new 1/76 scale models announced. There's one bus related item among these.

DG201017 Devon General Publicity Department V30 / (? GTA 642D ?) - Morris LD Van - Due Summer 22

Like the OOC models, the Devon General Morris LD Van will also be exclusive to the online Corgi store and is priced £13.99.

The new models & those outstanding from the previous catalogue can be viewed at: https://uk.corgi.co.uk/catalogue/new-range-launch-2022, or you can download a PDF version on the printed catalogue HERE.

The two AEC Routemaster models from the previous catalogue are also due to be released soon according to Corgi's latest Diecast Diaries blog post. Photograph are included showing the final production versions of both models. Diecast Diaries blog post link.
These may well turn out to be the last OOC models available through local model stockists.
