Latest Irish Railway Models Britbus Commissions

Two model releases I've missed have been commissioned by the Irish Railways Models, based on the Britbus MCW Metrorider tooling with feature Bus Eireann vehicle MB8 (88 D 31236) in the operator's white, red & orange livery. There are two versions available, the only difference being the destinations and additional side & rear window signage on the Cork Shuttle Bus version. IRM1208 Shuttle Bus (Cork) IRM1209 Hotel Shuttle (Galway) The models are priced £35.97 each plus postage and appear to have been released in either April or May. New Brekina Greyhound Scenicruiser Models Released

Brekina latest releases are the first three versions of their new tooling of the GMC PD-4501 Scenicruiser coach. The 1:87th scale models are expected to be available in the UK during August and carry three different variations of the Greyhound livery. In addition to the three GMC models there is also a VW T1b Samba minibus model in Greyhound livery. 31850 VW T1b Samba - Greyhound (Grey, black, white blue & red livery) 61300 GMC PD-4501 Scenicruiser - Greyhound (Silver, blue & white livery / Blank destination) 61301 GMC PD-4501 Scenicruiser - Greyhound (Silver, blue, white & yellow livery / Destination: New Orleans) 61302 GMC PD-4501 Scenicruiser - Greyhound (Silver, blue, white & red livery / Destination: Chicago) The UK RRP for the Scenicruisers is £34.99 while the VW minibus is £17.99. Latest Oxford Diecast Release

The latest batch of new releases has been announced on the Oxford Diecast website today, there's one public transport related item among these models. 43LR3S008 Royal Mail - Land Rover Series III Post Bus (MSF 345P / Kingie) - 1/43rd Scale Oxford Diecast have also re-run the N scale AEC Routemaster model NRM001 which depicts the first production vehicle RM8. Both models are available direct from Oxford Diecast & should be with model retailers shortly.

Omnidekka Models Opens Pre-Orders For Stagecoach Enviro400

Omnidekka Models has now opened pre-orders for the a Stagecoach Enviro400. The model is based on Stagecoach South vehicle 19063 (MX56 FSP/404 DCD) and carries a special pink & purple livery for Cancer Reserach UK. The model uses the 80M tooling and is due to be released in late 2023. It (ref code: OM3) will come with a limited card and a designed box. 900 models are going to be made with the following choice of destination displays: CANCER RESEARCH UK 21 GUNWHARF QUAYS £5 from the sell of each model will go to Cancer Research UK. Prices will be £59.00 for 1, or £118.00 for both destinations plus your postage option. Pre-orders can be placed at www.omnidekkamodels.co.uk.
