| Great British Bus Collection Models On General Sale |
| Wholesaler John Ayrey Diecast is to import ten of the models featured in the Atlas Editions Great British Bus Collection. below are expected this November and have a RRP of £29.99 each. The models come with their original plinth and card boxes featuring artwork of each model. All of the models use 1/76 scale tooling from the Corgi OOC range. | New Items From Mark Hughes |
| Several new etched parts have been added to the Mark Hughes range. A number of new brass mirrors & windscreen wipers for more modern vehicles are now available and are suitable for various vehicles including the Enviro range, Optare Solo, Plaxton Pointer, Mercedes minibuses & ECW buses. | Code 3 Samuel Ledgard Bus Model |
| The Samuel Ledgard Society have produced a code 3 model based on the recently released Oxford Diecast Leyland Titan PD2 model 76PD2004. It's limited edition of just 150 pieces and mark the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Ledgard's business. The model is based on PNW 91, one of the last three new bus ordered by Samuel Ledgard before his death in 1952. This code 3 version has additional side advertisements applied to the standard Oxford model and is only available directly from the Samuel Ledgard Society for £25 including UK postage. | Another Atlas Editions 1/43 Scale Model For UK |
| John Ayrey Diecast have imported another 1/43 scale Atlas Editions Partwork bus model into the UK. The model is from a French collection which contains mainly vans used by various trades people and comes attached to a diorama display. | Newly Announced Oxford Omnibus Range Models |
| These are the latest Oxford Diecast Omnibus range models which feature in the new catalogue for the period October 17 to January 18. These have been revealed tonight by the Oxford boss Taff via the Oxford Diecast Collectors Facebook group. | Oriental Model Buses Site Back Online |
| Graham White's long running Oriental Model Buses site ceased updates at the end on March this year and then went off-line completely during the Summer. I've noticed over the weekend that the whole site was back on line and what's more, it's been announced tonight that the site is being updated with over 80 new models released since March. | Dorest Model Buses Is Re-Opening |
| You may already be aware that the Dorset Model Buses website went off-line suddenly sometime ago and the associated Fleetmaster Authentic Bus Colours paint range have been un-available as a result. I've been contracted by the owner of the business Robbie, he has informed me that the reason for the disappearance was due to personal health issues. The good news is that the health issues have improved and he has decided to re-open the business which will start accepting new orders again from Monday 16th October. A holding page is now active at the DMB website: dorsetmodelbuses.co.uk which has full contact details should any previous customers have any outstanding matters that need resolving. Plans are still in hand to expand the range of Fleetmaster bus colours, but the previously announced new colours will take a little more time to organize. DMB will be selling a new range of cast resin conversion parts for die-casts, these have been developed by an old friend of Robbie & will form the 'Model Omnibus' and ‘Model Omnibus/converta-bus' ranges. A selection of new waterslide decals for repainted die-casts are also in preparation. More details of these parts will appear on the DMB website as the items become available, but the first items will offer several conversion options for the EFE Bristol VRT models. |
