| Creative Master Northcord Spares / Iwan’s Bus Bits |
| Iwan Jones has been working with SHQ Model, this is a new company set up by Sunny Chan that is now able to offer spares for models in the Northcord/CMNL range. In the future CKD (completely knocked down) Kits and new models will also be sold through this company. Iwan has recently brought some spares to the UK for a selection of the Northcord range, most of the initial stock has now been sold, but he has further new stock on order for January/February 2015. He will be stocking spares for the following CMNL/Northcord models; Mercedes Sprinter (UKVAN9000) Enviro 200 (UKBUS8000) Dennis Dart MPD (UKBUS3000) Mercedes Citaro (UKBUS5000/5100) Scania Omnicity single Decker (UKBUS7000) Plaxton President (UKBUS2000) ALX 400 (UKBUS 1000) Alexander Royale (UKBUS4000) Scania Omnicity double Decker (UKBUS9000) Enviro 400 (UKBUS6000) There is a wide range of spares such as Mirrors, Wipers, Glazing, wheels and much more. He is the only UK stockist of these spares at the moment and there is also limited stock at the present, but Iwan and Sunny hope to get more spares into production in the New Year as well as some CKD Models. Spares can be ordered in one of three ways: 1. You can order Direct for SHQ, they accept PayPal, but the postage charge on these is a lot more due to them being sent from Hong Kong. The website for SHQ is www.shqmodel.com 2. You can order them from Iwan by emailing him on and he will send you a list, he accepts PayPal and postal orders only at the moment. You can also send your suggestions to Iwan or items your looking for! 3. You can also order them from Iwan on Model Bus Traders, which is a successful Facebook group for the buying and selling of all things model bus related. www.facebook.com/groups/modelbustraders/ He is also attempting to get some Corgi OOC and EFE spares as well to sell. Iwan also hopes to attend the Model Bus Federation Ruislip Event in March where he will be showing off his model fleet and also selling spares, For more information please email him. | Marsden Models Kit Update |
| Neil Mortson has supplied an extensive update for his Marsden Models kits range. Details of the kits currently available and planned for 2015/6 have been added to the Marsden Models page in the kits section. The Marsden Models range of resin kits includes a varied collection of models covering both double & single deck buses & coaches from the 1920s to 1970s. Although the range is focused on the traditional 1/76 scale, a smaller range of larger 1/50th kits have also been produced, the latest of which is a Burlingham Half Cab bus which is available in either AEC Regal of Leyland TS8 form. The next model will be an ECW bodied Bristol LH, while a Leyland PD2 double deck bus & Bristol RESL single deck bus are also planned. Pre orders are being accepted for all of these. |

| Happy Christmas |
| May I take this opportunity to wish all visitors to the site a Very Happy & Peaceful Christmas and thank all those who have contributed to the site over the past 12 months. Thanks in particular go to Melvyn at Ace Model Buses for keeping updated with forthcoming EFE & other model release dates, Exclusive First Editions for supplying details of all their forthcoming releases and Frank Houlden for his numerous reports and photographs of so many model errors, a long overdue update of the errors list is currently underway. Thanks also go to Peter Harrison for once again updating his extensive model lists and his continued input to the sites as a whole. Apologies are also extended to anyone who hasn't had a reply to an email enquiry over the past six months or so, sadly this is down to the fact that my elderly mother's mobility took a turn for the worse in June, the knock on effect of which is I now have a lot less free time to send running the site and dealing with the many emails I receive. | Another Bachmann Stockists EFE Exclusive |
| A further exclusive EFE model for Bachmann appointed stockist's has been announced today. This was one of the models listed on the last subscriber's newsletter. Thanks go to TTC Diecast for sending me details of this model, they will be stocking the model and selling it for £28.01 plus free P&P. Model number E28823 RRP is £32.95 In 1983 London Transport celebrated its Golden Jubilee, in March of that year they took delivery of a brand new Titan, T747 (OHV 747Y). At first glance T747 appeared to be more of a celebration of Leyland rather than London Transport, decorated as it was with Leyland oriented branding adorning its gold livery with white and yellow trim. For the 50th anniversary it received a commemorative fleet number T1983, an optimistic fleet number as orders for Titans did not continue further than 1125. As London Transport's Jubilee programme of open days got under way, T747 was allocated to a variety of routes in and around the south east of London. Our model depicts T747 in its Jubilee livery whilst carrying its temporary T1983 fleet number, operating out of the Camberwell garage and working route 188 to Greenwich Maritime museum. |

| New 2015 Corgi Catalogue |
| Below are the new OOC models announced in the New January to June 2015 Catalogue which was launched today by Corgi. The new OOC models below have a lower RRP, all being priced £29.99 each on the Corgi website. There are only 5 new OOC models all of which will be issued with dual destination options. There are no new toolings for the OOC range and in all only 56 new models across all the Corgi ranges have been announced today which seems to indicate a much reduced output compared to recent years. It's not entirely clear from the Corgi website what the destination of OM46709B will be, the model description seems to suggest one of the models will be issued with the Berwick-Upon-Tweed 67 destination however. |

| Latest EFE Newsletter |
| The latest EFE Subscriber's newsletter arrived today. Frank Joyce mentions that two New Year special models are being planned, one of these will be from London and the other from elsewhere in the UK. Details will be included with the January newsletter. There are seven previously un-announced models listed in the newsletter's forthcoming model releases section. | New Corgi 2015 Range To Be Announced On Monday |
| Corgi will reveal its planned model releases for at least the first half of 2015 on Monday 15th December. The details will go live on the www.corgi.co.uk site from 12pm UK time. I'll do a round up of all the bus & coach related models announced on Monday evening if I can access the Corgi site. In the past the site has struggled to keep up with the demand during these big catalogue reveals! |

| EFE Release Updated Master List |
| Exclusive First Editions have updated their Master List of 1/76 scale model releases. The new update lists all the model releases up to the 19th November this year. The Excel file can be downloaded from the company's www.exclusivefirsteditions.com site and viewed in either Excel or using the one of free open source office suites such as Apache Open Office. P.S. Does anyone have an example of the commissioned model 31503TT shown as released in May of this year on this new update list. Model features RM1563 on route 9 to Mortlake Garage with Pan Am & Dalton Weekly side & Kelly Girl front adverts. |
