This model is based on the former Salford Corporation MCW bodied Leyland Titan PD2 FRJ 243D used by the Society as a mobile exhibition unit containing props & memorabilia from the popular BBC TV Comedy Series. Note: Although the livery is fairly accurate, the real vehicle had a forward entrance with platform doors.
The lower deck passenger windows on this model are internally painted black.
